Facility

Spring Mill Farm is located 20 minutes northeast of Memphis on 80+ manicured acres with two ponds and a running creek. Spring Mill’s facility offers 30 acres of outdoor riding, a grass Grand Prix field equipped with a bank and in-ground water jump, an outdoor jumping arena with all-weather footing, and a 100 x 150 ft. lighted indoor arena with a comfortable upstairs viewing room. Our arenas are groomed daily, courses reset weekly, and jumps are maintained and painted on a regular basis.

The Upper Barn boasts 28 well ventilated 12’x12’ stalls with fans, two boarder tack rooms with spacious cubbies, a trainer tack room, laundry room, bathroom and business office. It also features two indoor wash racks and four outdoor wash racks for your grooming pleasure.

The Middle Barn is attached to the indoor arena and houses 21 horses, also in 12’x12’ stalls with fans. This barn features three indoor wash racks with additional cross tie areas, as well as a boarder tack room with cubbies, a trainer tack room, laundry room, bathroom and business office.

Additionally, the Lower Barn nestled in the peaceful quiet of the back field provides an additional 10 stalls.

Boarding

Spring Mill Farm is a full-service facility and takes pride in providing the highest level of care for its boarders.

Spring Mill Farm’s three traditional barns are well ventilated in the summer and well insulated in the winter, maintaining a comfortable temperature for up to 59 horses year round. All barns are equipped with automatic fly spray systems and stall fans for use in the summer months. The two main barns boast tack rooms with large storage lockers, bathroom and laundry rooms, as well as fully stocked grooming areas for the convenience of our boarders.

Stalls at Spring Mill Farm are cleaned daily, and have shavings well-banked on the sides to help prevent horses from being cast in their stalls. Horses are blanketed according to weather for both stall and turnout and will be fly-sprayed and outfitted with boots for turnout at owner’s request.

Spring Mill Farm offers daily or nightly turnout service in one of our nineteen beautiful paddocks. Four-plank wood board fencing separate lush grass paddocks ranging in size from one-half to three acres.

Spring Mill Farm offers a range of high-end grain options and boarders receive a customized grain, hay and supplement schedule to meet their health and competitive needs. Spring Mill Farm also offers scheduling and holding services for veterinarians, blacksmiths, chiropractors, and equine dentists. All of the services listed above are included in the price of monthly board.

Training

Dave Pellegrini and his team of trainers work individually with clients to meet their specific riding goals. Private and group lessons are offered Tuesday through Sunday. Saturdays offer a horse show-type experience with clients grouped according to horse show division height. Spring Mill Farm’s team of trainers is experienced at the highest levels of the sport in both the hunter and jumper rings. Training rides are available at home and at horse shows.

Lessons with a Spring Mill trainer may be booked through the office. We recommend a consistent lesson schedule in order to meet your competitive goals and produce the best performance from you and your horse.

Full-service grooming is also available at extra cost, including tack-up and un-tack of your horse. In addition, an all new, all-inclusive full care boarding package is now available.

Horse Show Services

Spring Mill Farm attends horse shows year-round both locally and out-of-state. We offer schooling, training rides, basic care and full-service grooming as well as hauling to and from horse shows. In addition, all-inclusive full care grooming package is now available.

Please ask for a current horse show rate sheet to review all expenses associated with our show and at home services.

Horse Gym Treadmill

Spring Mill Farm is proud to introduce the latest addition to our facility- the S3 Automatic USA treadmill from HORSE GYM USA Treadmills!

Let our staff introduce your equine partner to this additional form of exercise through a conditioning program that can be adjusted specifically for your horse. It is also extremely beneficial for rehabilitating horses coming back from tendon and ligament injuries, and even colic surgery by safely and slowly developing their muscles that have been out of use while on stall rest.

We are pleased to offer a monthly package to our boarders so please inquire about this with one of our staff, and let's get your equine athlete started on the road to better performance now! More information is available at HorseGym.com.
